Welcome to First Baptist Church of Boone!
I am very happy that you have shown an interest in this wonderful church by visiting our web site. We offer worship on Sunday mornings at 9am in the Chapel and at 11am in the Sanctuary. I preach in both services and 
our praise band Veritas lead in music at 9am. Cindy Clawson, Interim Music Director, leads our Chancel Choir which is accompanied by our organist, Faye Ayers, and they lead with a more traditional approach to music in the 11am Worship Service. Come join us for worship any Sunday. All are welcome!
You are also invited to join us for a great meal and prayer time around the table on Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Our members are active in many areas of Christian life and you are encouraged to participate. We offer:
- Sunday morning Bible study for all ages.

The opportunity to participate in mission activities, both home and away.

Graded choirs and handbells for all ages.

Youth, College, and Children’s ministry.
- The First Learning Center, a Christian Half-Day Preschool Program.
The First Baptist Church of Boone is dually aligned with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Southern Baptist Convention. We are actively on mission through the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, the CBF of North Carolina, and the Three Forks Baptist Association.
